The NSF-funded SpectrumX Center has created two Flagship Projects, which are sets of interlinked work packages to explore spectrum awareness and coexistence through measurement, simulation and modeling, and rights/policy framework development.  See the links above for additional information.  

Recent work in Flagship Project 1 has focused on developing Mobile Experiment Platforms for Spectrum Awareness and deploying these platforms for field experiments in spectrum monitoring.
